NEW RELEASE!

In the (apparent) tradition of writing a series where only one book was intended (!) this month I have released the fifth book in the Storyspell fantasy series, A Tale of Fire and Feathers! This book chronicles the story of one of the characters who was introduced in Bardmoor (book four) an Unseelie prince by the name of Featherstone Flax. While I never intended to make a series out of the original fantasy book (Silvermythe) I already have plans for book six, and several ideas for the book after that. And here I thought that the first book was also the last. Shows what I know!

A TALE OF FIRE AND FEATHERS

In the hidden halls of the fairy kingdom, amid the pomp and sorcery of the Unseelie court, two brothers find themselves pitted against each other: one the heir to the Unseelie throne, the other uninterested in ruling the kingdom. Regal and gifted with wisdom, beauty, and a royal birthright, Firestone Fuar has been groomed all his life to inherit the fairy king crown from his father. Unburdened by any such glorious future, his twin brother, Featherstone Flax, has spent his life exactly as he pleased, blessed with equal beauty, the lion's share of charm and wit, and eager for adventure beyond the walls of the Unseelie court. They should not have been in conflict. But elements lurking in the Underhill kingdom are working to come between them, as shadowy enemies skulk in the darkness, hoping to see the two of them torn apart by the manipulation of politics and power. In the end, betrayal and death will leave only one of the brothers behind, and chaos in the court of the fairy king. Even then, other forces still fight to control the outcome. But which brother will fall, and which will rise?
